The Right Packaging Labels Are Important

The right packaging labels are important for your boxes to ensure they are clearly marked so they go where they need to go. Packaging labels are even more important when the label goes on the actual container. You are welcome to engage our graphic designers to help you
create or revamp your packaging labels.

Get The Right Stock for Your Packaging Labels

Product/Substrate:

  • Paper – These are the least expensive of the label stocks and are quite suitable for labelling boxes since the adhesive is quite strong.
  • Synthetic (Poly Propylene) – this stronger stock is typically used when the label goes on the container as its strength protects the label from spillage.

Finishing:

  • Matt laminate – creates a smooth, sophisticated and elegant finish. This finish is most often used for packaging labels as it easily allows overprinting.
  • Gloss laminate – creates a semi reflective and shiny finish to help your boxes or other packaging stand out.

Make Sure Your Packaging Labels Comply With Government Regulation
As a manufacturer or supplier, the onus is on you to ensure all of your packaging complies with government regulation. Mostly, this involves the actual label on the product but the external packaging must also comply with government regulations.
When selling your products in Australia, you must comply with Australian law to protect consumers in Australia and overseas. Some of these laws govern food, cosmetics, importing and exporting. We are not qualified to give legal advice but these government websites might be useful in determining what you need on your product and packaging labels.
