Custom Labels At Christmas Time

Well, it is now less than four weeks to go until Christmas time. This month is a busy time for us in terms of label printing. One of the most common types of labels we do is Christmas closedown stickers. In fact, we have already printed over 100,000 Christmas closedown stickers for hundreds of businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand. If you wish to purchase these, we turn these orders around in less than 48 hours so there is still time. Here is the link to our website for these Christmas closedown stickers.

We also do a large range of Christmas stickers for business. In business, we tend to think of Christmas parties, Christmas cards and calendars as well as other gifts but custom labels also have their place at Christmas time.

A popular corporate gift is wine. Many of our clients like to personalise their wine. They buy cleanskin bottles of wine at their local bottle shop and ask us to print Christmas wine labels. The advent of digital technology makes short runs of these personalised wine labels possible today whereas only a few years ago the cost would have been prohibitive.

There is still time to order your Christmas wine labels but you had better be quick. Christmas is just around the corner. Sorry, we can only provide the wine labels, not the wine as we are not licensed to sell alcohol.

However, we do specialise in wine labels. There is a fine balance between cost and durability when providing wine labels. Typically, wine labels are immersed in ice but not refrigerated for a long time so the most durable type of wine label stock is not really necessary.

We use WLK 202 label stock because this type of label stock is recommended by the wine industry. It uses a stronger adhesive than other labels and has been thoroughly tested on wine bottles and this stock cope with condensation. We use this stock as it is much more durable than paper labels but is less expensive than vinyl labels which are more appropriate when labels are exposed to weather conditions or extreme temperatures. Most wine bottles are stored at room temperature so the WLK 202 stock is the one we use.
